Our History in the Santa Ana Community
Founded in 1960 by Andrew P. Katnik, our firm began just down the street from the Old Orange County Courthouse, where Andrew made some of his earliest court appearances representing injured workers in Santa Ana. He built the practice on a simple belief: every injured client deserves elite representation and personal attention.
Andrew, who passed away on February 13, 2022, set the standard for how a workers’ compensation or personal injury client should be treated—always advocating with persistence, skill, and fairness.
His son, Norman P. Katnik, joined the firm in 1985. For more than thirty years, he represented thousands of injured workers and earned a respected reputation throughout the legal community before retiring on December 31, 2024.
Today, the firm is led by the third generation of Katnik attorneys—Kurt (2012) and Norm Jr. (2013)—who continue the family legacy of helping injured workers and accident victims throughout Santa Ana and the greater Orange County area.
